This week the American arm of the preowned watch company Watchfinder & Co published a survey that found that three quarters of grooms would choose luxury AAA replica watches over a wedding ring.

The research come on the heels of the months-long Ambani wedding in India, where the ten members of the groom’s party were all given rose gold UK best fake Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar watches, something that’s likely to have cost groom Anant Ambani somewhere in the region of £1.5 million.

The Watchfinder poll surveyed 1,000 Americans, with the key finding being that 82 per cent of brides and grooms now regard groom gifts as a wedding staple.

Luxury wholesale replica watches and jewellery topped a list of most popular choices, with 73 per cent of men saying they’d rather receive a wedding watch than a wedding ring.

Watchfinder then asked whether brides to be would consider buying pre-owned luxury copy watches for sale for their future husbands, with three quarters saying they would.

Top favoured brands – no surprises here – were fake Rolex (31 per cent), Omega (17 per cent) and Cartier (12 per cent).

What to make of it?

On one hand it’s hard to overlook the fact that the research finding in favour of buying preowned Swiss made replica watches was commissioned by a preowned watch company. It reminds us of those surveys about the importance of getting a good night’s sleep that turn out to be instigated by Dreams beds.
